Eng.Khalid Alanazi

CEO

Khalid is a driven biotech entrepreneur with a proven track record in government, private, and
startup sectors. He began his career at a biotech startup in Saudi Arabia, supporting the
establishment of its technical operations. This startup was later acquired by the Saudi PublicInvestment Fund.
Khalid has co-founded and led multiple startups, achieving a successful exit with one and securing funding for others.
He has served in various government roles, including at the Ministry of Industry and Mineral
Resources, where he managed biotech files and high-end committees focused on enhancing
biotech localization in Saudi Arabia. He also served as an Innovation and Commercialization
Advisor at Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University, establishing a program to commercialize university patents and support the transition of research projects from lab to market.
His government experience includes developing master plans, national projects, and strategies to enhance the biotech ecosystem in Saudi Arabia

Inventor

Dr. Khaled is an Assistant Professor of Air Pollution and Occupational Safety and Health at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University and a faculty member in the Department of Environmental Health at the College of Public Health.
Holding a PhD in Occupational Safety and Health from the Higher Institute of Public Health at Alexandria University, Dr. Khaled also serves as the Head of the Laboratory Safety Department at King Fahd University Hospital.
Research interests include occupational safety and health, exposure assessment and biological monitoring, air pollution, genotoxicity, occupational toxicology, industrial safety and health, and nanotechnology.
In addition, Dr. Khaled has 14 granted and published patents from the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) in the fields of air pollution, biotechnology, and nanotechnology.

Inventor

Dr. Reem holds a fellowship in clinical pathology from King Faisal University and earned her PhD in clinical microbiology from the University of Manchester in the United Kingdom.
As an Associate Professor and Consultant in Microbiology, she serves as the Head of the Microbiology Department at Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University.
Additionally, Dr. Reem is the Head of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory at King Fahd University Hospital in Khobar.
Her research portfolio includes numerous publications in the field of infectious disease diagnostics and the genetic traits of pathogenic bacteria. Dr. Reem also holds six patents granted by the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Executive Director, Technical & Scientific Division

With a Bachelor’s degree in Microbiology from King Saud University (2006) and a High Diploma in Cell Culture and Stem Cell Technology from Granada University, Spain (2009), I currently serve as a Supervisor of the Laboratory at the Medical College of Imam Abdulrahman Bin Faisal University (IAU) since 2020. I have contributed to two registered innovations at IAU and participated in several published research studies. Additionally, I have completed over 300 credit hours of training, enhancing my expertise in the field.

a Project Manager in Saudi Arabia with a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from King Abdulaziz University, graduating with honors. Experienced in management optimization, she enhances efficiency and profitability through streamlined processes and data-driven decisions. Proficient in English and Arabic, she has completed courses in PMP and communication skills, and possesses strong critical thinking, teamwork, and adaptability skills.

Executive Director, Production & Manufacturing Division

Mechanical Engineer with a Master's degree in Materials Science and Engineering from KFUPM. Experienced in industrial business, product, and operations development. Worked at Saudi Aramco in upstream and downstream business lines as part of the Engineering and Maintenance teams. Contributed to Additive Manufacturing (3D Printing) applications development at Namthaja, engaging in engineering, production, project management, and business development

Executive Director, Business Development Division

Holds a Master's degree in Innovation and Entrepreneurship from the University of Texas at Dallas, USA. Currently a lecturer in the Business Administration Department at the College of Business Administration, Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University (IAU). Serves as the Head of the Education and Training Unit at the Institute of Entrepreneurship and Innovation, IAU. Passionate about fostering innovation, entrepreneurship, and education, with a strong combination of theoretical knowledge and practical experience gained from working with startups and driving growth.
