the university signed a memorandum of understanding on the sidelines of the conference with the "Research Products Development Company (RPDC)," aimed at establishing a startup for one of the research products based on deep technology, named "Commercialization of Antimicrobial Textile Technology - Nano Fabric," as one of the outcomes of the agreement between the two parties.
The Imam Abdulrahman bin Faisal University participates in the "Sustainable Partnerships" conference and exhibition organized by the Ministry of Education, under the slogan "Research and Innovation for Building a Prosperous Economy," held at the Ritz-Carlton Hotel in Riyadh, with the participation of more than 150 speakers from decision-makers.
The university's president, Dr. Abdullah Al-Rubish, emphasized that this participation is among the university's most significant contributions. During the conference days, several workshops will be held, featuring a group of faculty members, along with the university's participation in a concurrent exhibition showcasing a number of inventions presented by faculty members.
Al-Rubish participated in a panel discussion titled "Research and Innovation in the Healthcare System" on the agenda of the first day. The session discussed enhancing partnership opportunities between universities and the health sector, the importance of developing pharmaceutical industries, and highlighting the health sector's strategy in research, innovation, and development.
